Black Dog Adjustable Training Halter - mini (20-35cm neck)

The Black Dog Training Halter is extermely effective at stopping a dog pulling while on lead and to calm a boisterous or an insecure dog.

This Classic style halter (classic because it connects to the lead under the dog's jaw) has been the choice for many trainers for the past 5 years.

• The unique design fits a wide range of dog sizes and head shapes.
• It features a nose bridge strap which slides on control cords enabling the halter to automatically adjust to fit a dogs head shape.
• The cord lock adjusts to hold the halter securely in place.

  This configuration produces a light, yet strong halter, which is much less intrusive on dogs and more comfortable for them to wear. The Black Dog training halter is superior to other halters on the market because of its unique cord configuration. The dynamic design allows the halter to move as the dog moves, leaving the Nose Bridge strap to sit comfortably in the same position.This prevents the halter riding up around the eyes, such that the dog is more content while wearing the Halter. Many other halters can be pulled right off the dog's face. The neck strap on the Black Dog halter prevents this happening.

  Fitting is simple...

   

• Adjust the Neck Strap to fit the individual dog (a tight, snug fit high on the neck is best). Take the Halter off again.
• Slide the Nose Strap over the dog's muzzle (reward the dog with a little treat to ease any concerns).
• Buckle the Neck Strap.
• Pull down on the Lead Ring (this adjusts the Training Halter to fit the dog's face).
• Slide the Cord Lock into position, about 1cm below the small D-ring at the dog's throat.
• Attach a lead, and your dog is ready to go.

  While the Black Dog Training Halter is less intrusive, some dogs are still troubled when first introduced to a halter. We recommed a planned approach. Make sure you are ready to immediately go for a walk or work with the dog on lead once the halter is fitted. Reward your dog, when introducing it to the Halter and throughout the first week.
