The Puppy & Dog Zone Housebreaking Pad is specially designed to hygenically train indoor pets. Each pad will absorb approximately 1.6 litres.

  Directions For Use

   

• To begin the housebreaking process position the pad in a designated area.
• Unfold the pad & place the coloured waterproof backing on the floor.
• Secure the pad in place with adhesive tape.
• Sit or stand your pet on the pad several times a day to train & familarise them with the feel & scent of the pad. This should be done immediately after meals, before sleeping & after waking.
• When your pet relives itself on the pad, praise & patting will encourage repeat use.
• Your puppy will be attracted to the scented pad and will become accustomed to relieving itself in the same area.
• If your pet wets elsewhere, take them to the pad as soon as possible to reinforce training.
• When replacing the pad ensure to position it in the same location.
• To transition the housebreaking outdoors gradually move the pad towards the back door, then place it in the outdoor location you wish your pet to use.
• The puppy will become accustomed to the pad outdoors, learning not to relieve itself in the house.
• Discontinue once the puppy has learnt to void outdoors.
